KJ's - The Place Where You Never Leave Hungry

KJ's is a small family owned and operated restaurant in Mecosta, MI. The restaurant is owned by Ken and Diane Nichols. Their daughter Trina Panek has been the Manager and breakfast Cook since opening doors in 1998. Walking into the small restaurant is always a surprise at first. The walls are covered in a hodge podge of funny signs collected over the years and you can immediately tell that over half the employees are related; and if they aren't they sure look like they do.


Start the day off right with a hearty breakfast. The omelettes are so big you can skip lunch!

Homemade Soups are cooked up daily by Diane, or as most people call her, Grandma, along with all the Salads that are available on the Salad Bar... including the famous Coleslaw. Nothing better than a homemade bowl of soup and a nice sandwich for Lunch!

Also, Homemade Dinner Specials are made by Grandma and served from 3pm to close everyday. Classic dishes like Lasagna, Stuffed Green Peppers, Meatloaf, Chop Suey, Goulash, and Beef Stroganoff are just a few to name.
